That would be incredibly uncomfortable on the rebound. It would definately not be legal.

I've seen these in autobarn - I'm surprised they are allowed to sell them (even with a "for offroad use" sticker on them) as they have to be downright dangerous.

That's almost as bad as cutting the springs, but less permanent.

If you've got a show car, you've already put A LOT of money into it, and you'd be better off going for a good set of adjustable coil overs or air-bags.
