VR4 head conversion help
Can anyone out there give me a list of everything im gunna need to put a vr4 dohc head on my starion? any help would be greatly appreciated as i JUST WANT MORE POWER!!! :D
Firstly make sure you do a search and read all the previous topics on the subject.
You also need to define some specifics like;
-Are you going to run an aftermarket ecu or a Vr4 one?
-Are you planning on using the Starion block?
-Using the VR4 turbo or larger?
Austarion really needs a FAQ in the techical section to point people to every time this topic pops up. Can anyone who has done the conversion write an article on it?

Re: VR4 head conversion help
You dont need a VR4 head or engine to make power. The 8v can do well.turbo_onion wrote:Can anyone out there give me a list of everything im gunna need to put a vr4 dohc head on my starion? any help would be greatly appreciated as i JUST WANT MORE POWER!!! :D

either he meant:
"can you get 200kW on the SOHC head??"
or
"duh, of course I want more than 200kw"
I was unable to decide the most likely, but my first impression was the first option.
