FS: my old starion

i was picking a mate up from work the other day and seen this JB for sale. anyway i checked it out and it was my old one!, it looked mint!, its a 85 JB with 188,000k's (with a brand new motor which i put in when i had it about 1000 k ago) and it has 12 months rego.

They had 7,500 on the window which i reckon is way over priced but it looks so nice, it now has a JA bonnet to.

How much did you sell it for? And does anyone wonder why they would sell it only 1000k's after buying it?

Why would anyone change their JB bonnet for a JA one though? :o

You'd only get marginally better venting thru a JA bonnet.

Assuming only JA's came with the vented style bonnet I'd say it's because it makes the car look far more agressive, IMHO.

ok, i sold it cause it was going to be to much of a pain to register and my mate wanted to buy it. So he brought it off me (cheap), the price is on these forums somewhere. anyway he spent abit of money on it and accidently took it for a drive every now and again. (it was defected and unregisted)

anyway he ended up all of a sudden selling it without telling me and didnt realy have much of a reason for doing so.

When i seen it for sale i spoke to the guys and they said when they got it it was unregisted and had small front qtr damage (hence the new bonnet). THe car NOW has 12 months rego, they cleaned it up and it looks mint.

THats why it has crap all more k's on it and it has a JA bonnet. I reckon its a rip off though what they want for it...

p.s. i suspect my mate smashed it thats why he sold it. I checked the car out and it looks very straight, so no worrys there.
