No! Please don't destroy a good bonnet! Whenever you do that, God kills a kitten!AussieFella wrote:Ok, but i dont give a fuck what you think about my idea, thats not up to you to decide, im only here to buy the scoop, not hear your opinions on my car, or on what im doing to my car, and if i cant get any help out of you guys, i seriously will go and cut up a perfectly good bonnet to get my scoop...

Dude, it is YOU that needs to show some respect. If you come into a forum and say ignorant stuff like this:
..then you are going to get flamed. It's not hard to find a picture of the 'standard item'. There's a really good website called "google", you give it some keywords (for example "starion scoop"), and it will actually search the web for other websites that might have what you are looking for! Difficult to comprehend, I know. Here's a link to a page of search results for "starion scoop":AussieFella wrote:I dont know what the standard item is, im a Magna driver... :P I just got told Starion scoops were good...

Funnily enough, the 4th link on that page has pictures of a Magna with a starion scoop. For the sake of other forum members who may wish to comment, here are a couple of pics:
Anyway, if you really want to make your car look like this, a mate of mine has a few wrecked Starions, and no doubt has a few scoops as well. What exactly are you interested in - just the opening at the front, or do you want the whole scoop part separated from the rest of the car?

or just hack the entire scoop section out, and sent it that way. courier fees would be way less.Alspos wrote:Postage, hmmmm, I doubt post would take it. It would have to be a courier job. And it would mean me wrapping it up. Next time your in Melb (Mulgrave) drop in and grab it, it will fit in the boot of the car with some TLC and rope.

Glynn explained how it wouldn't be functional, C Fernance suggested you get it from a bonnet that was already worse for wear rather than cannibalising a nice one. Al and Flav both offered you scoops. Hell, Alspos even responded to your request after your first hissy fit. You have been "treated bad" because you turned up uninformed with gems like "I just got told Starion scoops were good...", then you expect some degree of respect? None of us (not even toysrus) would visit a forum with such a bad attitude.AussieFella wrote:Actually, im a member at AMC, and none of us there would treat you guys as bad as you have treated me if you visited.try www.aussiemagna.com they might be more helpful.
Yes, they do look similar. It's a classic style, unlike your car..AussieFella wrote:Thats not a very nice thing to say about someone elses car, i think your car looks like an old style RX7 but i dont say so do i? mostly because i wouldnt want to insult the RX7, it has more guts than what your heaps of shit....say your gonna hack up some starion bits for a magna of all things and now cry cos people have been less than helpful.
Take your filthy magna and leave. Just don't go too fast around the corner, your car is FWD remember.
