LSD CV's T-Tubes F&R 5 Bolt Hubs WB Wheels
Info
Yes that was me that emaild u, but i thought it may be of interest to ppl here also. cheers.
I am going to use whatever pajero(montero) or triton or L200 diff i need to to fit the 8" starion 3.5 crown and pinion into. i have an 84L200 diff here atm with the 3.9 in it, i will set up a couple of centers and use them for diferent race tracks but for the street i would like the 3.5, my car with all thes bits in it only weights 2200lb (1000kg) with 350hp at the wheels so its only going to spin more if i use the 3.9.
id love it the L200 i have could b used as its the right width already, but the splins are only 32mm with 36mm axels. so i think im going to have to us a Pajero diff and chop it down to suit the Galant.

Just say the word and the parts will be on their way. And BTW I appreciate the help and machining expertise with the Magna MPI you provided us with.
Thanks

Well the baby has a T3/T4 turbo with a Mid to Hi power band so it is NOT a drag car but more of a Road Corse car. The better power range is between 3500 and 6000 RPM's. I have a custom Grind Cam from Tim C (States Side) for use with Roller Rockers from a 2.0L Mit engine. I am using the Marnel Head with All new Stainless Steel +.5mm oversized valves with heavy duty springs. Bottom end is standard Wisseco Pistons on 0.040" Overbore with Knife edged Crank. And the whole thing balanced from cover to cover. The car is SOLID and NOW I feel secure that I will not break something next time I take it to track.
But gas millage DID suffer. Well I whent from two Injectors ( 850cc/1000cc) to 4 750cc. So I dont drive it hard as often as I like.
I have not dynoed the car yet but I am estimating about 350 HP at the crank running pump gas at 10 PSI and a full exhaust ( Emition Regulations ) If I go to race gas 106 Octane Unleaded I can pump the boost up to 15 or 18 and get to about 400 HP plus.
So the Magna MPI mod was the BEST thing that the Starion could have ever gotten as an upgrade.
Thanks Glen for your knoledge and support to us State Side.
And from your e-mails I see you are not affraid to Cut things in half and weld them back together or simply create a "Frankenstein" of a car with parts from 63 different donor cars and trucks to get your desired results. Not many of your kind still exist that are willing to do it.
thanks

Allrights Guys and gals....
Your support has been unreal and the GOOD word of mouth even better. TOO good if you ask me. I am starting to run REAL short of LSD here as so many of you are asking for them.
I am still taking the orders but the waiting time may be extended a bit longer due to shortage of good LSD's locally. And if I have to Source them out of my area I will have to add shipping or delivery cost fore the LSD to me fo inspection and propper cleaning and packing.
So again I am STILL willing tosupply the LSD's I will just need a bit longer time to locate them.
I guess another reason is that the US dollar has taken a DUMP in the World market value and trading againt the dollar is good now for just about any body. You actually get more for your money now than about 3 months ago.
Again guys thanks for your support and your recomendations.
Any questions, help or recomendations will be GREATLY andf FREELY given =)
Thanks
Oscar

As far as customs goes, you need to keep the 'insured value' under $1000AU. Otherwise you are in for a bit of customs red tape and high charges. Otherwise its about 10 to 15% of the value of the product. You will need to show receipts for this and fill out some paperwork. (oscar may 'dud' a receipt for you)!
AND....if you are a lucky boy you may even get it delivered without customs touching it. I have my puchases shipped by 'ground' using USPS. This is the best and cheapest way that i have discovered without attracting customs fees although it takes longer.

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before, but due to the new Free Trade Agreement between the USA and AUS, the 15% import duty no longer exists (as of 1 January 2005). Therefore, the only tax that may apply to imported car parts from the USA is 10% GST. :beer

With the current exchange rates you can get an whole LSD for AUD$600 SHIPPED to your door from the US.
YES LSD Torque tubes ARE required and CV's are required ONLY if you get the 88-89 Model LSD or if you want to upgrade to a bigger CV shaft on the 87 model.
Please feel free to contact me with any quetions you may have.
At the moment I have ONE 87 model LSD and ONE 88-89 model LSD available and plenty of Torque Tubes and CV to accomodate your needs. I have sold and shipped 6 LSD's so far to Australia and New Zealand, 1 to Hungary and 1 to South Africa. So I know whats the best way to ship. I have refference upon request.
