To those that can't find a VK EFI module ---

Old shape magna (Mid 80's) CARBY engines have the same one!! I just pulled one off and the number is 9 222 067 021!! The magna EFI ones are different though. I got this one for $10.

Oh yeah, this might be obvious to some, but I was looking around the engine bay near the coil and following the negative lead off the coil trying to find the module... it is a small metal box on the side of the dizzy, two screws and the cover comes off, then you can just pull it off.

Running like shit though.. either wrong firing order, timing is way out, or air flow meter isn't connected properly... at least it is running though!

Yes you WILL have to adjust the timing when you change over to this ignition setup.

Straight from Merlin's tech article:

Connect a timing light. Loosen the distributor locking nut. Start the engine.
I found the ignition timing to be about 10º advanced from its previous setting with this new setup.
Allow the engine to warm up and reset the ignition timing to 12ºBTDC at idle.
