I have one optical distributor from a DASH engine. Was planning to use this for my MPI Conversion but due to problems with the disc that it uses (does not have a home trigger slot) this will not be suitable for my purposes.

Would suit MPI conversion if someone can find a suitable disc and swap it in, in place of the standard one.
If you are still looking for mpi trigger distributor look no further than the hyundai sonata 2.4l sohc of 1989 shape. A complete A grade engine in brisbane costs $250 complete. I bought mpi manifold, complete with everything, fuel rail and injectors, coil, distributor and throttle body for under $100. I've just had a look and it has the second cutout in the disc to i.d. top dead centre.
These hyundai engines are the same as the 1989 Galant SE 8valve engine except for the 2.4L disp.
