Does anyone know the oil capacity of the JB LSD ? I know the quest LSD's take 1.3 litres , but I believe they have a larger carrier.

It should be the same. But you can't buy 1.3 litres in one container so you're screwed anyway. I filled mine, sent 1.2l away with one I sold and have 1.25l sitting in the garage. Castrol LSX something or other.....

I think you will find it does not quite hold 1.3 litres. Anyhow like Starion VR4 says it should be more or less level with the bottom of the filler hole.

Remember that there are 2 different sized diffs in the JBs. Early LSD is the same housing as JA (What I have) and later is the larger JD size housing. I suspect that the capacity disrepancy is related.

What does it matter. LSX90 comes in 4 litre or 1 litre containers (if you can find a 1 litre one, bloody Repco :x )

Yes you may be correct. I still have the oil stain on my garage floor to prove it!

My JB housing is a small one. My JD housing is a large one. Both held 1.3 litres. Confused? Me too.
