Possibly, Deeks, but I can only find evidence of VIN #'s up to 60.

*1638 total Starions
*1349 JA's
Therefore, 289 JB/D's.

I have found JB's up to about VIN#0190, and JD up to VIN#0060. So it appears that either JB's were up to about 230 and JD to about 60; or JB up to 190 and 90 JD's. I am more inclined top think that it is the former based on VIN #'s.

It could be time to put the call out for JB/JD owners and their VIN's again to rekindle the Registry.

Also, if people know of other Starions whose owners aren't on this forum, pass on the vehciles details anyway so that we can account for as many Australian Starions as possible. Even if you come across one in a wrecking yard , let us know and we will make a note that it is a wreck. The aim is to record as many of the 1638 Australian Starions as possible.

TD05,

You for got the compliance plate pic :D Thanks for the evidence- you are now redeemed. ;)

Chris, I am sure that you have wrecked at least one other Starion, a JA? ;) That JB is my old one, which ended up in Chef's possesion, and now yours :) What are you going to do with it?

There was another JA, a yellow one. Jason (StarionClinic) used to own it but it got written off in an accident. I bought the back 1/2 to convert a Scorpion to IRS, it's probably going into my convertible. Because i never got the front 1/2 i don't have a clue what the VIN #, etc is.

Seeing as the JB was already half stripped i'm finishing the job of removing all the sound deadening, etc. I'll then repaint the inside, and i've bought a sheet of aluminium to make some interior panels. I've got a whole heap of other panels and stuff that it needs so i'll get the body sorted as well and then try and register it  should be interesting. Basically it will be a road registered race car.

Thanks, Kim. You've been added ;)

Chris, sounds good. Another JB saved from the wreckers ;) JA's are plentiful, but I don't like the idea of trashing the rarer JB's and and even rarer JD's.
