This is true. Yeah I think i can get someone with a cams level 3 license :D.

Uno there are a few places that sell these rally/race only imports where the owners or a worker has a cams level 3 license i think, it was in High Performance Imports Mag about 6-12 months back.
Will have to do some more homework but should be cool. I am getting a trailer too hehe i am gonna paint it all red and have big round shiny wheels on it hehe. Cause lord knows if i had big shiny square wheels i wouldn't be going too far.

Cheers
Ben

have a look at a site called "www. J-SPEC.com.au " its a japanese auction site but the site is run by some guys out of melbourne who source the car you want and there's heaps of cars to choose from, just send in your email addy and they send you the auctions and cars available it takes a couple of days once you've sent your email address in but then your laughing or you can email them direct
imports@j-spec.com.au and tell them what you want and they just send you those cars............ happy hunting

NXTIME wrote:Yes, but you (or someone you know) will need to hold a Level 3 Cams licence with log books in order to get it into Aus as a race/rally import. Although, from what I have been told, that isn't that hard to arrange. ;)

The upside of this is that you can look at R32's from 1989-1994 as the 15 year rule doesn't apply to race/rally imports. ;)
plus you dont get hit with the 'selling to stupid roundeyes' tax that applies to 15yo imports.
