the blurb....

Display: The RFX-9120G features a mechanical fold down faceplate with a large 10-character dot-matrix display. The clock is displayed in the lower left corner of the display, and a multi-segmented volume bar runs across the bottom of the display. The volume bar provides a graphic display of the level when the volume is being adjusted. It flashes to peaks in the music during radio or CD play. If desired, the volume bar can be turned off in the menu.

Contrast Adjustment: The display contrast may be adjusted from -5 to +40 for optimum readability.

Source Tone Memory: Individual bass and treble settings are memorized for the tuner and built-in CD player.

Sum Outputs: In addition to front and rear preamp outputs, this unit features a third pair of preamp output (called Sum Out) for use with subwoofers. The level of the summed preamp output can be independently adjusted from 0 to 30.

Low-Pass Filter: The Sum output can be set for full range operation (flat) or filtered by a low-pass crossover set at 80Hz.

Punch: Similar to a standard loudness function, the Punch function boosts the bass and treble response at all volume levels.

Initial Volume: You can set the maximum initial (turn-on) volume. If the volume setting was lower than the initial volume setting when the unit was turned off, the lower volume will be used at turn-on. If the volume setting was higher than the initial volume setting when the unit was turned off, the initial volume setting is used at turn-on.

CD/MP3 Features

Disc Compatibility: The RFX-9120G will play Audio CDs, CD-R and CD-RW discs, as well as MP3 files recorded onto either CD-R or CD-RW discs.

Direct Track Access: You can directly access any track on the disc by pressing the T-Acc button and entering the track number.

MP3 File Playback: This unit can play MP3 files on CD-R and CD-RW discs recorded at a bit rate of 32kbps to 320kbps.
