Amp Gauge?

Post by Abalistic »

Has anyone wondered why the Amp meter in the dash is a more yellow colour than the rest of the instruments?

Because the globe is directly behind that guage as opposed to the offset of the globes on the other guages etc. take the cluster off and have a play :)

Even in daylight

Post by Abalistic »

Even in the daylight it is a different colour, and yes it does'nt matter what colour it is. It just comes across strange, when you think of how ahead of it's time a Starion is, that they would get the colour wrong.
If the Amp meter does'nt work try the mounting bolts for it, that go thru the circuit board. If these have a bad connection, it stops working.

p.s. would also like to know how to make it more sensitive.

I'm guessing these guages plug into the same place on all cars... so....

How the hell do I make my amp guage work again? :D
