DIY fuel controller
Hi all.
I'm Almost 100% though the design stage of my latest fuel controller. Prices should be about $95 NZD for the regulator and around $150 NZD for the hand controller. This will control fuel only, ignition will come later maybe.
Its a very simple, solid and unique design. Full assembly/installation instructions will be provided and the average home DIYer should be more than capable of using this kit to its full potential.
Names are still being considered, but we have basically settled on BroTec.
I'll get pics up shortly. If your interested, give me a yell and i'll put you down for a trial kit.

would definitly be interested! i'm looking at going for MPI as part of the next stage of development for the Lancer, main problem being i don't want to fork out for an aftermarket computer but this sounds like it could do the trick????
whats the deal with programming it? is that laptop styles? and would a dyno be needed? forgive me for the stupid? questions, i don't know too much about fuel programming, just keen as to get into it.

This is an EFI kit, which has been available for some time. It is sold in kit form, for about $100. Controls fuel and ignition. My neighbour has this efi computer in his Celica, seems very reliable. There might be some good info available on this site.

what i buy is basic componets and then i put them all together and box them in custom (heat prof as the standerd ones can melt if kept in the engein bay) houseings and there you have it a cheap air/fuel raito chager cheap as chipsThis unit is a huge revolution in DIY automotive performance. nomis: wouldn't mind knowing a bit more about it, like is it a standalone to control your injectors or is it just to adjust the computers stock settings, like a piggyback type computer?
what i need is something that can take inputs from (i'm guessing this but it makes sense?) the dizzy (and whatever else it needs to) and control 4 injectors, whereas before my computer only controlled 2. is this possible or would i need a full aftermarket computer for this?
