wow :o was it hard to fit the starion panels to the cordia? get much torque steer with a FWD car with its engine mounted north south instead? whack conversion!

As I don't want to be the only bugger with a 2 litre rear wheel drive Cordia with a Starion shell and engine (regardless of the prestige it might bring me), I went back to the DPI to have it corrected.
Here's what it was:
This is the certificate of variation that I received in the post a few days after I saw them:
I give up. It must be fate. I'm destined to have one 'normal' Starion and one unique car LOL
Starion nutter since 1988...
1983 JA, 1984 JA, 1985 JB (all rego'd, all running :D )

its not that they only print 6 chars for the vehicle identifier is it? sorry not sure how it works over there, but that could be the case

Looks like I'll have to start my own user group for the other beast, too bad it's already doomed to have only one member
