Hey all, im a new member here even though I’ve been reading ur forum for the past year! , good job btw. I lived in Oz for a year n loved it .. class chicks , cars n weather!! . am home now in damp Ireland :beer . jus thought id share some of my starion pics wit ye. I've had five but own 3 now an part own da forth... eh addicted u might say. anyhow they r cheap n good fun.
The pearl one is every weekend car , gold narrow body (no pic) is work in progress (still driving tho) ,the red one is a parts car.havent taken anything off it yet n is driving but as u can see salt on the roads isnt doing any of the older jap cars any favours here !!!! (hehe note my hand covering the holes on some pics) the other cars pictured were stripped by myself and my mate for parts.

Good to see another Irishman on the Forum!!! I noticed the cars all have british rego, are they in the north or have you got them in Eire? I wouldn't want to hear the price of insurance if they're in Dublin or the likes! BTW pearl one is fukin awesome! :beer

Hey , nice one , thanks lads , yeah am in the republic , Galway . haha ya the english regs .... u see there are so many regs around here now! everything from Latvian to spanish and everything in between so the cops dont take to much notice of myself n my mates whom all have their cars on english regs... can kinda avoid the 400 euro a year road tax that way! have a classic insurance policy on them so cover is only 180 euro (not so bad) .
The paint on the white one is more of an oak with a blue pearl , looks great in the sun but abit like somebody had been blowing cig smoke on it on the dull days :pimp .
They are all 2.0 , the white one is chipped with 2.5inch straight thru exhaust ,boost controler n a blow off valve.
loads a sideways stuff n doughnuts

Good stuff! Galways is much better then Dublin for insurance problems, the Gardai walk all over you there! I got quoted 6500 Euro, to drive a 250 Euro 1.3L little car, I thought they were having a laugh! They weren't! All's well, don't have that problem in OZ!
