Well, as of 6pm today, the Pajero is back in running order.

Quick Ben, organise another track day before it breaks again!

Hey Guys,

Well the track day was bloody awesome. 6 Starions hitting the track aswell as many other cars. it wasn't too hot and as usual plenty of breeze to make things comfortable.

We managed to get heaps of footage, more than enough to get close to 60mins of usable edited footage for your downloading pleasure. (Non-broadband users - a dvd will be available (in a while))

My bro was very pleased with the satria which ran quick all day, and with the new tyres it definetly had enough grip.

MRB was kickin with his new setup on his JA and was very happy with how it gripped.

I had a couple of stupid issues which i soon fixed, to put it simple I disconnected the power steering and I plugged a spark plug lead back in that fell off?? After that a trouble free day, and got to put down some nice laps. (unfortunatley we got none of my good drifts on video and non of my bad ones lol)

The Dirtys had dramas which newly installed (professionally) rear bushes turned out to be a croc and the back end was like jelly. However this didn't stop him from using the 200kw@wheels for some massive sideways action lol and plenty of offs.

Merlin had a Magic Day lol (That is all i have sorry lol)

Will was full sick with his low ass staz which ran quick all day.

I am all pumped up and am going to go watch this video and see what i can use.

Hopefully the next one will have even more interest and I would like to thank all who attended to make the day great. Thanks Guys :D

Cheers

Track day

Post by dirty sanchez »

Had an excellent day, it was good to meet everyone.

I should learn to get off my arse and not try and sort my car out in the couple of weeks prior to the track day. The car had so much movement in the rear end that I could move the wheels by hand, under power it was scary!

About the only thing it was good for was (attempting to!) drift. Thanks to Camotec and Cuss Cuss for loaning me their spare wheels so that I did not wreck my good rubber, apologises to ben for destroying his tyre in one track session, I guess I will be supply a replacement!!

Never seen six starions in one place before, hopefully next time we can get more (and my car will be a little safer).
