Noltec adjustable strut tops

Post by merlin »

I happened to be at the Noltec shop the other day, and was able to get a set of adjustable strut tops for $300, same as the group buy organised some time ago. They still have stock!

If you are interested to take advantage of this group it would be well worth your while.

To radically enhance the handling of your vehicle the adjustable strut mounts permit varying wheel alignment settings ultimately inducing crisper handling and better tyre performance. The group has already purchased 20 sets of these based on the recommendation of one of its members already with the part installed in his Starion.

Out of curiosity, do you have to make the strut brace part yourself?

Different things Woody.

Strut brace ties the two strut towers together, increasing the strength of them and reducing flex.
The strut top in the picture replaces the existing black non-adjustable strut top.
I suppose you could use both at the same time, just make sure all the bolts are compatible.

Camber plates in the picture allow you to change front wheel camber and caster more than you can with the factory adjustments. Good for track where you need more camber etc.

So if I was to put a straight strut brace on my car, would it have any effect?

In reality, you are probably not going to notice the difference with or without a strut brace in day to day driving. When I put mine in, it felt a bit like the car was stiffer or more ridgid, but it was barely noticeable.

However, from what ive heard they do wonders on the track.
