Just to prove my geekery the pic is clearly a narrow magna block. Either the pic is wrong or the description.

As I understand it the last Sigma's had the 2.6 narrow block.

No I beleive they came with both wide and narrow block for manual and auto respectively.
The pic is definetly a magna block though as it has the water pump port at the rear - these were never fitted into RWD format from the factory.

yep it's an astron II engine and GK sigmas only had astron I engines.....
