1: Yes, speakers are 6" by 9"
2: No, they are firmly mounted and bolted into position, with rubber sound deadening.
3: No. (see answer to q 3b)
3b: Factory shelf did, i made another one using 15mm MDF, hinged in the middle so it would follow the same line as the original. I used the original as a template to get the correct shape.
4: Yes, 20L sealed box containing one 10" sony subwoofer.
5: Yes, i am protected.

I had some mounted in my parcel tray in the old Integra I had, worked well.
On the Starion, I was running subs etc, so the rears were normal 6.5" speakers. I found that there is a small grate above the rear struts inside the car - almost look like speaker housings, so I smashed mine apart, and mounted some speakers in there. Worked well, looked good, and kept them securely out of the way. Used the speaker grill to replace the old plastic thing.

The 7X10's really pump. Magic bass.
Factory rear speakers are not connected. Factory front dash speakers are not connected. Widebody has factory door speakers and they are connected to give me 4 speakers in total. Sony Xplode CD system nothing special but seems to do the job really well without an Amp (good enough for me anyway).
Anyhow pics from the widebody below.

Is this a trick question? If they rattled around, they'd always rattle around. Just depends on wether you can hear them or not, depending on the stereo being on or off?

Same as Prozac, with the hinges to follow the original line. Works a treat and looks very neat.
