pajero lsd centre

i know this may be a topic thats already been covered but just wondering if its possible to fit a pajero lsd centre into a starion ?? if anyones done it plz post some comments :)

Some Pajero diff parts fit the Starion diff, however you need to have a JD style housing - the JA style is too small.

Alternately, you can have the housing/parts machined to fit.

I can't really answer more than that. Try calling Ron - he can probably give you a price also.

Do all Pajero's have a rear LSD? Whats the deal with that? Im wondering if its cheaper to have more readily available Pajero bits machined into Starion housings as apposed to buying the Starion part. Once machined, it would be just a case of going to the wreckers and saying 'my Pajero broke, need diff' - and thereby reduce the 'bling-bling' markup. hmm interesting

There is a guy in townsville has done this mod to starion as i am waiting to here from him.

yes im goin to a diff and gearbox shop later in the week to see what they think i may be able to do , im pretty keen on the idea to see if its possible

Oscar the Grouch mentioned in one of his posts that the centre from a Mitsubishi ?????? can be grafted in to a Staz diff. CBF looking for the post right now. He has a few people with orders in to him. The vehicle was not available in Oz but I think with some research, tape measure and spanners somebody may uncovr something in a wreckers yard somewhere.
