if u wanted to be that smart u could copy a space out of somebodys post and re-paste it, hence eradicating the need for the charmap altogether.. :roll:
or u could press ALT-255  on your numpad u also generate a space character ;)

or use linux and remap the space key to another button on hte keyboard.

WINNAR!

its quite funny to remap someones vowel keys while they are away from the computer so it just beeps when they try to type a vowel.

.......or if you wanted to be real smart about it you could use works money to buy a brand new keyboard with more fancy bonus buttons that do all types of weird and wonderful things.. mmm... this one takes me home.
