New instrument faces *Available NOW!!*

Post by hcca »

White faces with blue or red lettering are available right now! These are all a direct fit. The blue may require a bit of a lighting upgrade as it's a little dark (photo shows it a bit lighter than it is in reality). The red should be ok. Instructions supplied for fitting and on simple lighting upgrades.

For clarity, this is for a FULL set of white faced gauges - ignore the two blue ones in the photo. I will post up a photo of the whole set later this arvo.

Price is $60 for a standard set including postage for a limited time :)

PM me or email hcca (at) mailsnare.net

FULL SET IN WHITE/BLUE:

Will hopefully have pics of white/red this arvo.

Note: The two smaller gauges in the photos below are a prototype blue with white. I am will be doing these and others soon. Let me know if you are interested in them.

Once again, sorry for blurry night photo..

--OLD MESSAGE BELOW--

This is the prototype speedo - what do you think? Not a fan of that colour myself (just a prototype like I said :)). These take a lot of work!

(Night photos are hard to take without a tripod :))

I should be able to make these available soon (possibly even next week). I can do whatever face colour you want although I might have to play a bit more with backings to get the lighting right with some colours. I know white letters are fine, yellow should be ok too, but not sure about others yet. Cost will be about $60 for the full set (the tacho has a nice improvement too :)).

I'm doing more early next week. Will have the whole set then. These are all multi-layered so they're not quite as simple as they look. Also I had to draw them all myself :)

Looking forward to the finished result.

Care to enlighten me on what the general procedure is for producing them?

Vinyl cut graphics.. but i'm doing it all myself (apart from the cutting :)) Still takes a few hours to make each set, not to mention all the hours drawing them. I will have some more complete stuff to show next week -hopefully-.

Had a couple of requests for white face/black numbers - I think it's only possible to do with a translucent background. I can do white/blue though with a non-translucent background (ie. shines through numbers only). I will get a few of these made up next week and probably some combos of red/blue faces too.

Yeah I need an analog dash also, hopefully wont be too hard to find. Get rid of the old digital, I dont like it. Turned out the red lamp means 'you bent your crankshaft you n00b'

awesome job HCCA, i would love a set of dial's. Could you do white with the red Numbers?? i have the red globes in my cluster, and at night the dials glowing a nice red would be schweet.... though im not picky. the white and blue sound good.
Maybe if it wasn't to difficult you could personalise the dials, where the mitzi emblem is you could put the nick/name of the car/person.
just a thought. awesome job none the less. :luv

Changing the number colour should be the easiest part so i'll see what I can do.

Also would be able to do some custom stuff on them if that's wanted.. not too difficult, although if you want a specific picture/font etc I would need a photo or diagram to work from.

That looks awesome, count me in, are they hard to mount?
Watch your speed - It's virtually impossible to pick it out of the carpet if it gets blown off the table.
