FS: my car :( (1977 Chrysler LB Lancer Fastback)

Post by Chryzla »

sadly the time has come to part with my car.. need to move on to bigger projects and move along in life

Its a 1977 Chrysler LB Lancer Fastback

this is my first car, and i spend a hell of alot of time and effort and money on it and im looking to pass my work onto someone who wants a first car and would like to finish the project off.

I got the car for $450 and have spent to date over $4500 on it

it has:
reconditioned engine 6000km's ago. spent approx $1200 on the rebuild
Twin barrel weber with bored manifold and appropriate adaptors
sports exhaust with extractors
new leads and plugs.
Elecrtronic computer driven ignition system
4 month old battery.
sigma 2.6 radiator and clutch fan (clutch fan not standard)

Mp3 Cdplayer
afew interiour spruces
new tie rod ends

14" "performance" 5 spoke mags

good as new front and rear bumpers, good condition rear lights and everything around them. all trim in good condition (as everyone knows who does this its bloody hard to find good condition parts)

too much to list

things left to do: there are two missing body panels that god damaged, one is the fuel filler cap, the other is the front airdam, both readly avaliable at wreckers and wouldnt cost much to paint. i could do this for a small charge. and there is a little nylon bizzo in the gearbox just under the shifter, needs replacing.

i have advertised it for $1800 and been offered 1500. im looking for 1500 firm now as i have had previous interest at that price.

its a perfect car for a first car. has power to boot.
Im not claiming its a new car, but i have had a hell of alot of fun in it and jsut want to see someone else having the fun too.

i have tonnes of spares, some parts worth $250 on their own.

so $1500 firm (thats a steal in my opinoin)

the mags arent currently on it as they are at a friends place we are trying to polish them up abit ang clean all the brake dust off them.

they will be back to me next weekend.
