I was wondering how this turbo would suit the 2 ltr. Anyone got any ideas on how it waould compare to a tc-06 perhaps.
How fast do those doorhandles go mate!

I think it would work well on a modified 2.0. It's similar to Cookies and that works well on his 2.0 by all accounts.

As far as I know this turbo was homologated for the 2.6 widebody Starion GroupA.
We had the option to buy one of those pajero turbo's after one of the 2 litre groupA turbo's let go and decided against it since it was not legal. I can't remember what the housing was, (it might have been the same as our groupA one) but it had a larger wheels and the exducer bore had been opened up a fair bit compared to the original groupA turbo.

If you could show me a set of starion homologation papers with your turbo in there with those specs I'd love to see it!!!

Well I haven't seen a GroupA Starion turbocharger for so long I can't really comment. Can you post some pictures?

It would appear the widebody 2.6 GroupA car had this turbo. If you have all the Starion homologation papers I guess it should be listed. I don't have any so I can't check :(
I suspect Mitsubishi submitted revisions to the FIA around 1986-87 to cover the widebody so it's maybe no surprise if it's not in the original homologation papers.
But as I said I don't know for sure.

My dads got the full set of papers which have updates through till about 88-89 and there's nothing on the widebody. The only clue of the 2.6 is the very last rollcage update where they show a 2.6 sitting in the engine bay... No mention otherwise. Seeing as they never ran the widebody or the 2.6 in a proper groupA race I don't think they ever homologated it.

I'll see what i can do about a picture for you...
