Hi guys, the time has come for me to do what I used to say I'd never do. My car is now up for sale, so if anyone is interested and wants to have a look and test drive, feel free to do so. I purchased the car as my first car five years ago, and during that time I've (unwisely) invested alot of time and money into it (15k+). Anyway, here are the cars details:
build date: November 1983 (JA)
-----ENGINE BAY-----
* 2.6l engine, genuinely travelled less than 7000km since rebuild, rebuilt with unleaded head, hypertectic pistons, bored 40 thou, crack/pressure tested block & head.
* sequential MPI with 70mm throttle body
* 550CC RX-7 injectors
* malpassi fuel pressure regulator
* VR4 front-mount intercooler & stainless piping
* finer filter air filter
* bosch BOV
* four-puck brass button clutch
* Multi-coil ignition (4x bosch coils)
* RX-7 crank-angle sensor
I'm currently running just a standard turbo since I ran out of funds to put on the turbo I wanted. The car although has all the gear to allow you to put whatever turbo you desire on.
------ENGINE MANAGMENT-----
* Microtech LTX-8, with 4-line display hand controller, laptop adapter and software.
------ACCESSORIES/INTERIOR-----
* gear knob with LEDS
* Sports steering wheel
* Cruise control
* remote alarm and central locking
* Seats re-trimmed in velour
------BODY------
* Full re-spray a few years back
* custom graphics
* JB front bumper (driving lights)
* after-market adjustable rear-spoiler
* 16" mags with new tyres (~1000km travelled)
------OTHER-----
* Rego till August 2004
* Complete workshop manual
* Of course all the standard stuff is there and functioning, e.g. electric windows, a/c etc.
------THE PARTS-----
I have filled my parents shed up with parts over the years, and since none of it is of any use to me, all the parts will be sold with the car. My parents are located in Mildura, so I would require the buyer to organise a trailer that I can take back to Mildura and get the parts for them. i would cover the fuel cost of getting the bits, just need a trailer to borrow. Some but definately not all the parts to go with the car include:
* complete rear end/axel with diff, disc hubs, suspension
* front discs and hubs
* New/unopened advantix brake pads, wheel bearings
* rebuilt/bored US 2.6l engine blcok and bottom end, pressure tested
* complete 2l engine
* 3x spare tc06 turbos, spare garrett t-28 ball-bearing turbo, spare garrett t03
* 3x standard complete inlet and exhaust manifolds
* 3x standard computers
* a few map sensors, 3 air flow sensors
* Interior pieces like rear seats, roof lining etc
* front doors
* bumpers
* 2 spare gear boxes
* fuel pump
* and on and on... theres alot of stuff there! a whole sheds worth, so whoever buys the car will have alot of parts to play with, sell off or have for backup or fix the car with when need be.
The car drives very well, and test drives are welcome. I have purchased a late model Magna due to lifestyle changes, so I desperately need to get rid of the car to make repayments easier, and clear some space.
I'm asking $4900 for the car, and genuinely need the cash, so I am also open to offers if need be.
You can contact me anytime on my mobile on: 0438525754
or at home (after 5:30 weekdays, anytime weekends) on (03)94376209.
I'm located in Mill Park (Bundoora area).
cheers.
Radek.

Wow, if i was in Aus i'd be there to have a look in a flash, that sounds like a damn good price.
