You mean fuel map there?WidebodyWoody wrote:I found out a few things, first my map sensor is tuned off the throttle position, not the map sensor. This is bad, secondly my fans aren't working at all and my custom exhaust manifold has a bad leak in it. But I will keep you all posted.
How to make an extra 41HP at the wheels, change the turbo!

A combination of aftermarket cam and larger turbo exhaust housing removed my 4500rpm power limit.MrBishi wrote:My tuner suggested that the cam was really going to hold my setup back. I am running a TR roller cam with manual tappets and although I was turning only 8psi and a 5000rpm rev limit (fresh motor) we could see the graph level out after 4000rpm.
Thus one of the things on my list to do before I go back for a balls out run is a bigger aftermarket cam.

Well that's right but in here on the JB style TBI (same as the 2.6) looks pretty ugly. It looks half blocked up plus lots of sharp edges inside. Die grinder time!Chris 83JA wrote:the smallest part of the JA throttle body is at the butterfly valve, which is 2".toysrus wrote:What is the Diameter of the Standard Staz T/b ?

Yes, it was in the car. But after the car was tuned.. we found the cam was not dialled in correctly. And I still had the standard TC06 at that time.CussCuss wrote:cookie with that grind how do you find it for pottering around in? you had it in when i was in the car didnt you?
So since then it has been retuned with a TD06-17C.
At 3000rpm its making around 60 kw atw - so yes a bit sluggish.
By 4000rpm its making around 140kw atw.
So during this 1000rpm range you can really feels the affects of the cam and larger turbo.
Power keeps increasing upto redline (6200rpm) but not as dramatically.
