No, I blew it up. It was great.
I took it up through the Black Spur, Marrysville and Reefton on a Renault Clip Sport cruise. Those things were fast. I had the 2.6 on edge all day tryin to keep with those quick little fuckers. It copped a real beating that day.
The next day driving home from work... the power started dying off... I doubled down a gear and gave it some... with no power... I put the clutch in.. the revs died.. "no! get fucked! not that easy!". into third, clutch out, it roll starts (very unwillingly) flat on the throttle *turbo whistle* BANG!!!!
fucking sensational. every 2.6 deserves this treatment in my mind.
but hey, thats just my OPINION! i like cars that turn corners.

Only 9psi cause the injectors can't handle the new turbo. I need to go multipoint aparently. I knew I had to but I thought I could go 5psi easily. The internals are still stock, and so is the intercooler. And yes it is a 2.6. Does anyone know if I mod the endtanks, if the cooler will flow fine with a Garrett GT35? or would I need to change it. I intend on getting new piping anyways, and a 3" exhaust.

Just to elaborate on this slighly, the 2.6 was very worn and was going to die anyway, i just gave it a helping hand. and as for trying to keep up with those Renault Clio Sports, with the 4g63 bolted in I drilled them through the bends, but with the 2.6 the cars just all over the place, doesnt feel like a Starion AT ALL.
I'd like to make a strong public service announcment that anyone considering or know anyone who's considering or even thought about replacing their 4g63 equiped Starion with the 4g54 to NOT.
Woody's Widebody's cool though coz its in a widebody.. and they were ment to be like that.
