The photos just dont do it justice, the cover and eci now flip from a really deep green all the way through a deep purple and yellowy colour...very very cool but impossible to make look good on photo.

if u can see it with your eye, you shoudl be able to photograph it. just put the camera in the right spot and play with the iris without the flash. failing that go outside and get some phat light onto it.

taking photo's of chameleon's is difficult as well as pearls.
You need a fluro light to get the WOW factor. Direct sunlight will have the same effect. I took some photo's of my centre console. Flips from copper to vibrant purple metallic.

Looks great, keep up the awesome work. All little custom touches really have the WOW factor once the car's finished.
I cant stop using trippy paint on bits and pieces of the car. Though they aren't too larish.

here is the plan for the new interior...but its in the gawdy old interior colours so excuse how bad it looks :D i cant decide if the side top panel shud b the same as the back seats or if hte bottom panel should...perosnally i think the top one in the same colour as the back would look better IMHO :D

Technically it's the Standard B16G, or so it seems :D

The EvoIII part No is 49178-01470 but it's prob been rebuilt with the Evo3 Compressor and turbine wheel into the Small 16G Compressor cover which fits prefectly anyway :P

Eitherway, very very nice  now if only I had an EvoIII B16G Turbo :D

The 02 Housing, is that the Evo3 02 Housing ? Can you get some bigger pics. It may be better to set-up a twin dump-pipe if it isn't the Evo3 one due to flow restrictions promoting boost creep horrors :wtf:

The Evo3 is cast a lot better and is also larger, can get the specs if you want, or just ask 'ColtFiction' he would have some good ideas on how to remove the 'Boost creep' issue :)

Hey 'toysrus' that is a genuine 'Ralliart' B16G not the small, so the turbine housing is stronger and its originally off a 'RS' GVR4. Yes its got the Evo3 50mm inducer and 68mm exducer but they have it standard on this model and the Evo exhaust/turbine housings are slightly slimmer & thinner than that one for weight and spooling reasons......i have an Evo3 '49178 01470' turbo right here in front of me and another one with a 'T04E' 54mm inducer/73mm exducer wheel (20G copy) on my car. Im a turbo technician (fitter/machinist) and specialise in MHI turbochargers. I have been working with MHI products for almost 8years now and there is s@#$loads of different spec TD05 turbo's including Ralliart spec ones. That dump pipe in the picture is a Twin-flow style, once again....standard with that spec & model. Sweet?

Yeah that's fine ColtFiction, so it was rebuilt with the Evo B16G wheel ? Because doesn't the '49178 01420' part No represent the small 16G Compressor but because it's the same as the ''49178 01470' Compressor cover so they can fit the B16G wheel without any machning right ?

Well sort of right, the small G inducer is 48.6mm and the big G is inducer 49.9mm & 51.7 (varies on the model & spec), thus saying the small G comp cover won't fit on the big G comp wheel unless you machine it a tad, but the 'Ralliart RS' 49178 01420 turbo is a big G and the 2nd Gen Cyclone 49178 01420 turbo is a small G. As you said, its the big G wheel in the small G machined comp, but standard in this case on that turbo (Ralliart RS GVR4). Sweet?

ahh, that makes sense, so why did Mitsubishi use the same compressor cover Number for two different turbo's ? How could manufacturing tell the difference when boxing 'em up......or were all RS spec VR4's fitted with the B16G in small 16G cover, and when you mention Ralliart, are you refering to the Evo 0 aka VR4s' or just the ordinary RS VR4s' ?
