Crazy Clio chick

Post by Glenjo »

Wrote this up for another forum, thought I'd post here for the hell of it.

I see a Renualt Sport lurking in the distance. Through second nature I double down a gear, mashing my right foot as far into the floor as physically possible. I weave through traffic and pull in behind the Silver Renault, sporting a P plate. The car slightly shunts with movement of a downshift. The Renault accelerates. I give chase. We rapidly approach Whites road meeting Nepean hwy. The Renault gets on the brakes. I leave my breaking point deeper. The Lights turn amber, the renault momentarily hesitates, the brake lights flash-on... then off. In these splits seconds I close the gap, heal toe'n into second at 90km/h, leaving me at 6,000RPM as I peel right around the Clio to take the inside line. The Clio takes a narrower line than I expected. I pull further right to avoid clipping, pushing me right up close to the curb as I roll around the apex at 5,000RPM, coincidently where my power starts pulling hard. I roll the ankle back onto full throttle and pull ahead. There's a Monaro in my lane. I dart left in full mid-mount fashion, getting in front of the Clio. The Clio darts left again and pulls up next to me. I glance left. I glance left again. I see blonde. I glance more. I see a dead sexy, girl next door, daddy's little girl who gets NASTY at the party type blonde.

She accelerates. I obey my manhood and give chase again. We both weave through traffic frantically trying to top each other. Speeds exceeding 130km/h in reasonably tight conditions. I get stuck behind 2 identical white VT commodores. I curse Holden’s domination of the market with such poor craftsmanship. I see red ahead. I see a clear path between the Clio and the line. I manage to squeeze between the two, forcing the left piece to merge lanes. I cut the right one off in a 2 lane jump to the right, pulling in behind the Clio again, still accelerating and dart left once more to cut of another innocent motorist. I have my clean line to the line. I bring it down through the gears. I come to a sudden holt next to the Clio with a 6,000RPM heal toe into first.

I look at her. She looks at me. I keep eye contact. She keeps eye contact. I rev my Twin cam, variable induction 121kw 2.0l inline 4. She revs her twin cam, variable valve timing 124kw 2.0l inline 4. I hold at 4,500. She holds at what sounds to be less. The green lights break our gaze. She chirps a little and gets ahead. I start to release. I'm on her tail. I bring the revs up with the clutch coming out. The clutch fully releases spot on 5,000RPM, right on queue. I claw up beside her and pull half a car length ahead. I clutch in at 7,000RPM. She edges forward a little until I release second and launch spot on 5k once more. The 3sge powers the MR2 to up to 100km/h giving a good car length gap. I pull the gear right up to 7,000RPM once more, as needed to get a good run in third with the power ban. I grab third, slight delay... then on with the variable induction as the engine hits full song and pulls me away for a clear clean cut victory. I auto window down, give a wave of appreciation as she peels left into the distance and out of my life. What a champ… I look right to see the black RX8. The Mayhem continues....

No. I made it all up. Especially the part about me owning an MR2. I thought that bit was pretty creative.
