My new JA

Post by DD Phil »

Sorry about the dodgy pic, I'll take some better ones during the week.

MrBishi picked up the 16" Simmons today, so the FR18s now fill the guards.

Next is intercooler, Garett GT30 and exhaust I'll run as much boost as I can with stock injection while I save up for new computer/injectors/fuel system. I have another built motor and gearbox, I'll drop that in when I do the injection.

The turbo on this one was rebuilt six-months ago, the manifold is crack free, if anyone's interested in either, let me know.

I know this might sound weird but have you considered lowering it?
Coz no offence atm it looks like a offroad car.

Lower it? Why would I do that?

Just kidding, first stop is the suspension shop next week. Urethane bushes EVERYWHERE, coil overs etc.

I haven't even picked the car up yet, I take her over for keeps on Tuesday.

PS Complete motor/turbo/injection is up for sale now.

Been meaning to get some of those.

How did you go with the wheels?

Wheels are great but off now during the respray.
Tyres need replacing - Rears are uber slippery/worn and fronts are 205s somehow blown out onto the 8" rims which look and drive wrong. Any problems with clearance with say 225s on the front when you had them?

I ran 225/45 and 245/45 no problem on the 16s.

I run 235/40 and 285/30 on the 18s, I only had to roll the lip of the rear guard.
