What would you guys think a rough estimate of buying and high flowing a TC06 turbo? You are right, this is just for a street car...just seeing what opinions everyone has.

Jeff,

My TC06 had already been hi flowed and has just been rebuilt. Cost was $500 for strip, rebuild with new bearing and seals. I've heard around $700 gets you a fully rebuilt and flowed TC06.

You can pick up TC06's that are in need of a rebuild for around $150-$200 but I would have thought you would have one already on the car.

Cheers
Greg

I'll check, but i believe that the turbo on my old car is a TC05 (i think this is what mrb1 and myself concluded on one of his trips to my place). 700 isnt too bad...where abouts would one go to get a turbo stripped and high flowed?

Precision Turbos at Wetherill Park just did mine and have done DRKELFs.

Very happy with their work.

I was thinking from an exhaust poit of view that the tco6 is a well sized turbo for the staz is there a posibility that another turbo in the mitsu range (or other turbo if they fit) could be used to give it a bit more compressor flow? I've got a vr4 tdo5 with a cracked exhaust side would this be usefull at all?

I'll probably end up going with a high flowed TC06 turbo with a nice open exhaust system. Thanks for the input guys.

Is the EvoIII B16G a Garrett?
Is it ball bearing or rebuildable?
