Just so you know, the lenses are all red. So technically they are not legal as they are. But everything is legal until you get caught.
I have Conquest ones. And mine all blink when the indicators are on :D

Alspos...

What do you mean they are not legal ?
Do you guys HAVE to have Yellow lenses in the turn signal area ?

Here you can have it either way... :?

Yep, it's an Australian Design Rule. But as I said everything is legal until you get caught.
I will probably clear them though, once I read up again on it, and stick them on my other car once it's alive.

Ah Ha !
By the way... will either US Tail light design "Bolt-On" on the Au Staz's Rear ?

Just asking as I have a AU Member asking this to me as he wants to "Clear them" as well and I cant confirm but I am 90% sure they will bolt on.

Thanks

All the lights bolt on, the light bulb holder things are wired a little differently though. If Aus people buy them they can use their original bulb holder and have red indicators. I modified the US one and used that to do what I wanted. I figured if I stuffed it, I could use the Aus one anyway.

the starion ones are the same as ours, but yeh except for the red lense. also i think its in the us design law to have those red reflectors on the side of the indicator, which we don't need.

Oscar,
The conquest ones look schmicko.
I've just rebuilt my JA Tail lights. Repainted in and out and cut/polished the lenses, new globes as well. I also reconditioned and painted the centre garnish.
I should have some pics up soon. They look better than new, well i guess im being biased.
I took enough pics to do a tech article on reconditioning them. Would it be worthwhile???
:?

everythings worth a tech article! I'd personally find it usefull as id on't want o accidentally do something stupid like use thinners and find out it eats the plastic away heheh :) restoring plastic for the centre piece would be helpfull too as i have no idea how to do it.

good idea ;)
How fast do those doorhandles go mate!

That would be great man cause im about to do mine.

I know they are noob guides, but im going to be posting some guides on my starion site that is being developed such as handbrake removal and installation among other things cause the manuals are not too user friendly.
