We reserve that for laps of calder or drags on friday night @ calder.
You're joking aren't you? You must be. Just because you have money to spend/borrow on a car doesn't make you any more responsible. I guarantee if you drove along say Dandenong Road (or some major arterial to any capital city) on a Friday night, you will see many "responsible" P-platers in expensive cars, doing completely ridiculous things.

A) It'll get it outta their system, B) It teaches responsibility, C) Gives them car control. Any idiot can leave their foot flat to the floor, it's controlling power oversteer around a sharp bend that leaves most people lacking.
Ask your insurance company if your premium goes down if you have done a rally/advanced driving course and your on P plates. Insurance companies official line is if p-platers are more confident they will get in to more accidents. That's a joke.

Again, you are kidding, right? Perhaps in your general circle of friends you think this, but there's a larger world out there.

Anybody seen an Indian lady in a Nissan Pulsar with P-plates, veer across two lanes of traffic without indicating then sit at 10 km below the posted speed limit during peak hour traffic? No....... look harder. How is their license obtained? By post going by the way they drive. The licensing system is a joke. I dread to think what would happen if they had to stop on a dreary day. Even at 10 below the limit.
How about the overweight woman who has to shuffle steer because she can't reach past herself? I dare her to avoid a car that's just poked it's rear out of a suburban driveway as she's driving past.
How about a license system where people actually have to "drive" to pass the test. Obstacle avoidance, peripheral vision test, etc. A bit of real world education would do wonders. What people chose to do with this knowledge is up to them. There will always be dickheads who will kill themselves, it's the uneducated ones that are the problem.
