WTB : Spare wheel holder thingy
WTB : Spare wheel holder thingy
the thing that bolts the spare wheel down or if anyone can get the length and pitch of the thread i could have one made up.
well the length is just the length of the bolt, the pitch, ummm if you have an engineering place nearby the should be able to tell you everything about the bolt or maybe auto one.
Greg its sitting in there with no bolt at the moment and thats fine, but im giving very serious thought about getting rid of the interior so i wouldnt have a back seat inbetween me and a flying spare tyre in an acco or something.

CussCuss,
Its M10 x 1.25, and about 78mm long. There's a little sleave that sits under the bolt head that sits in the wheel nut hole, and the length from that base of that to the end of the thread is about 55mm.
I buy all my odds and ends bolts from Mitchell's Engineering supplies in Hornsby which isn't too far from you. Corner Salisbury and Leighton Place.
