Im doing an engine cleanup on the Galant too
Will definately post a pic :)
I did my head in bright orange and black, (just by fluke, didnt see any pics before) and anyway came out looking mint, except the black letters peeled off with the masking tape :(
and I have a custom made stainless spark plug cover on the way with GALANT written in a flames font engraved in to it. So have changed my mind again, and am going on the hunt for a dark/metallic blue that will suit the rocker cover, and just polish up the letters (so blue and silver instead of orange and black).
Saw the blue and silver combo on a RWD 4G63BT in FastFours (just a pic, no info), and it looked awesome, so Im going to copy them ehehe looks easier than masking.
If I can't get the colour I want for the rocker in heat paint, Im considering hardwiring the fans, and installing some EVO3 style vents on the front part of the motor, so that heat does not build up, being non-turbo it'd probably cope. My rocker doesn't get hot enough to boil water, so probably be fine anyway.
