mmm 15k might be a bit too much...lol...i have to factor in the current repairs too...so i only wanted 15k outlay all together with the repair work as well which is achievable.

What is a ridiculous turbo that I coudl put in? Any1 recommendingg the 2530 turbo? :P

Mate, just chuck in a 20B tripple rotor, that will get ya moving....

close the gearbox is a w58 relatively similar size to the staz gearbox hence not huge mucking around to make an adaptor plate, reasonably priced too but i'd look at giving your diff a freshen up too if i had a combo like that, or if your really cashed you could try a 6 speed supra (jz80) gertrag box should handle any power a 4g6 can put through it comfortably.
How fast do those doorhandles go mate!

That's not a ridiculous turbo...a GT35 or 40 maybe. :D

Seriously though, a 2530 would be a good turbo for the Starion.

you said daily driver and performance.... there is no good mix of both, unless you get a good ECU and supercharge it (with a supercharger removal switch) and adjuct the ecu to no boost and less fuel?

you cant mix performance and economy...

yes you can, use your right foot, ive had to drive off boost for the last week cause the piping is blowing off and i havnt had time to get some good silicone, im getting great economy but bloody hell it was frustrating driving to work on empty wet roads at 6:30am

I was advised by beyondthelimit that a vr4 setup might be overkill if im only wanting around 200-250kw at the treads :o I wonder what he has in mind? Ill let you guys know when I talk to him :)
