Seriously...

If you want some serious mods...

I'll do one better than VR4 for a suggestion...

VR4-V6.

Go the 3000 GT engine. It will crap on almost anything you can get your car to go up against.

That's some serious power.... Enough to take off.

And it will make a really good daily driver.

David.

Did anyone else see the irony of this statement?

Microtech LT8S or the magical Wolf3D I hear so much about :)
VR4 engine + EVO3 turbo + big FMIC and a better air damn to scoop it up. Plus gotta think about the custom pipework involved.

or, do what IM doing, build a custom motor, Starion block + JE forged pistons, Eagle rods, ARP bolts, etc etc and of course the DOHC head.

I budgeted $15,000 for mine, because Im nuts, and everything HAS to be perfect or Ill get all pissy.

Do you have a power goal?

Also does anyone know what needs to be done to a Starion gearbox when its presented with huge hp? Its always bothered me. Would be pretty rank to finish a project, to have the gearbox die on the first drag run.
