You could make the wide body quarters, they would be easy enough to do and fit to the car. I'm not sure if you have seen any of the wide bodied 180's, 200's or Silvia's?? The kit is made by Vertex and they do an awesome job at it, no doubts you could do the same. In the new H.P.I they do a different branded kit to a silvia. The rears get pop riveted onto the original quarters though you do a lil panel work on the arches to make them fit.
Is this possible on the starion.......??? i think so, maybe the fuel cap might be an issue but it can be done, i have faith. If it can be done on other cars then with a lil ingenuity anything's possible.
:D
Hmmm, complete fibreglass front, carbon bonnet, phat rear quarters
oh the weight saved.

It would only be weight saved if you cut off the steel narrow body quarters. Be intereting to see how fast the car folds in half without them though.

The filler cap would be the easiest part of this exercise. Maybe one day but Ill take it one peice at a time for now.
It wasnt me, nobody saw me do it, you cant proove a thing

understandably so, there's no way i would drive a car with no real steel around me. I guess it would be just a " IMAGE " thing.
Though this would kinda warrant a roll cage.
