Sherminator's Staz ::Update::

Post by MrGenius »

The engine is out cause for some reason it didnt want to run with 700ml of oil. Seized oil pump and the balance shaft aint moving in a hurry.

Image

Pulled the engine down also to have a geezer of what was in there.

Image

Changed the springs over to some lowered ones so it dont look so gay with the 18's on it.

Image

New steering wheel too as the old one got farked when the yobbos tried to flog the car.

Plenty more to come as we piece it all back together and i remove all the rice when he's not looking

the ones stiffler supplied (mr genius) are 1 1/2 inch front 2inch rear if not low enough for you you can get them reset very cheap but they are set at that height id say cause it handles best there. :wink: You guys can laugh at my light switches but think of this it cost me $30 to fix compared to $330 for the genuine ones

My switches died as well, i pulled the dash apart got the switches out, and glued them back together. 18 months down the track and they're still good as new. The missle switches give it a unique look.

Take a measurement from the centre of your wheel to the guard all around and put the measurements up here then if someone with a stocker height one could do the same u can figure it out :)

My ride height is 320mm rear, 305mm front. That's wheel centre to guard lip. Can someone post their stock ride heights please. I'm interested to know how much drop my car has.

What brand are those springs MrGenius? and do you have a ride height measurement for them when fitted?

They are Dobinsons springs.

I can check the heights but they wont be very accurate as the car hasnt moved so the springs wont have settled, plus there is no engine in the car so the front is sky high :) I'll get a few of the boys to get in the engine bay and make 4G63 noises and measure the height.
