How the fuck did you get the motor in there with the radiator in the standard location? The 1J must be a touch shorter than the 2J (or you've got the engine hard up against the firewall!

the radiator is actually in front of the support & air conditioning condensor its a bloody tight fit thats why i had 2 put on the newstyle front bar trying 2 get everthing 2 fit with the standard front end was going to be impossible because i want 2 put in a massive aluminium radiator( its a ford courier 1 atm) and cooler soon . the only difference between the 1 & 2j is block height for that reason i mounted the engine as low as possible it was originally going 2 be a 2j but there still ridiculously expensive & and you'll find it difficult passing that swap in nsw so i plan swapping 2 a 2j bottom end later on sorry the pics arent that clear i'll b posting alot more soon
According to the NSW regulations, you can fit a forced induction engine with an engine capacity up to 4 times the weight of the vehicle (for cars over 1100kgs). The conversion is 2.5 for cars that weigh under 1100kgs. This means that the Starion can have an forced engine up to 5060cc. The rules used to be up on the RTA website but that has been changed so I don't have a link.
Please register your vehicle details on the AUSTRALIAN STARION REGISTRY <HERE>
Your radiator doesn't look like it's in front of the support..?
I gave up on the twin turbos on the 2J because the rear turbo fouled the brakes, trans tunnel was chopped to fit the R154 and my radiator is much further forward (but I can fit the fans behind the radiator).
