Mistaken Identity

Post by GADGET »

I believe I get mixed up with AXELR8 as I live around the corner from him. Slow boy gets mixed up with DISTRBD coz they both work at the sub-corp.

But thats not the reason for this new topic.

Who gets their STARION mixed for the crapper CORDIA!

C'mon I cant believe it but I constanly get "nice Cordia" comments from people passing by when I go to shopping centres and cruizing on the weekend. It ain't just kids either its guys in the late 20's and onwards bracket too.

AXELR8 was at the 2003 nationals in Adelaide and the commentator called it a Cordia all day and night! He should know better.

Another comment heard was "You can drift front wheel drive cars sick mate"

My last speeding fine: I was doing 18km/h over in a 70 zone, apparently i was driving a Cordia.
The cop even checked my front tyres for burnouts.

Yeah I get Delorean calls all the time. And sometimes people think it's an early celica. If anyone called my car a cordia they had better run!

I pointed to the tv the other week and said to my wife "look there is a starion on the simpsons!" :D she said my god :o it is to. But I had to give up on the joke :( and explain to her the difference between a Starion and a Delorion

"'nice stallion' (holy crap I forgot to put pants on this morning did I)"

thats pretty funny :)

I got told at the lights that my car was the fastest production 2 litre until 1985, and could spin em on the spot all the way into 3rd... From the most bogan looking guy, driving a beat up kingswood! That was a whack evening. When i worked at the gassy and my car was parked out front i had heaps of comments on it, its a nice feeling :).

Is it true that they are called Stallions because they have such a large knob? (gear knob that is - get your mind out of the gutter)
