Work in aussie?

Post by Defective »

ok, ive been thinking about moving to aussie (you know, grass is greener and all that shit) and i was just wondering how easy it is to get work. Il probably end up im brisbane somewherem, cos i have an uncle there somewhere...

im pretty much prepared to do any sort of work, but iv been driving forklifts n stuff so if i could find a job doing that it would be sweet.

also, what are starions worth over there? I always see modded ones for sale for around 5g but what about stockers?
oz, here i come....

Stockers are anything between $700(no rego)-$3000. Have a look for yourself each week on www.tradingpost.com.au. The listing are updated every Thursday. If there is a Starion for sale in Sydney it will be in the tradingpost.

Work

Post by WANTSOM »

Sorry Wallabies lost the rugby, no work here for Kiwis rofl

Seriously, there's plenty of work available if you're prepared to work. If you have a fork licence its an added bonus for warehouse type work. Do you have a truck licence as well?

Let me know when you plan on coming and I'll ask around my place - we have 90+ electrical wholesale outlets and 15 of them are in the SE Queensland area.

Cheers
Greg

Work is easy enough to find if you are willing to work. Most of the unemployment rate is people who want to get paid almost as much as they would for working , just for sitting at home watching TV. If they are offered a job they stuff around till they are unemployed again. My ex gets almost $800 a fortnight of the gumbyment (disability pension due to stupidity. She tried to jump off a moving train when she was 16 and busted her knee. :glare: )

When i lost my first job (company closed down) i had another better paying job in less than a week. :D
