DRIFT WINGS!

Post by GADGET »

Does anyone on this site have a drift wing mounted to their car?
You may be a bit sheepish to answer this question since cookie always rorts the crap out of anything rice.
I saw a NSW registered staz in Adelaide. It was white, had an alloy drift wing and black JB pillar vents. Dude seemed bigger than me so I gave thumbs up coz was a staz but I don't like it.

the reason people pay out drift wings is
a) they do anything at the speeds people drift at
b) they dont work while the car is sideways anyway
c) even if they did work, they would be doing the wrong thing, they would be giving the car more rear grip, wich is the opposite of what you do on a drift car.

I think that the 'right' wing would like nice on a Staz.
I have no idea what the 'right' wing looks like, but I can tell you what it shouldn't look like! It should never look like someone has made it in their shed from scrap metal or a meccano set!

My 2 cents...

How about option d) Coz they look S##T on just about every car they are put on!
