would the only thing cheaper importing it from NZ be a cheaper shipping cost? but still cost as much tax and port wise as it would be importing from japan?

no slower cos they're heavier and less aerodynamic. they came with a 1.8 like the cordia too. we just like them cos we are riceboys :D

shipping is more from NZ as its a less frequently travelled route. At least so says the jap importers, but they have a vested interest, obviously.

arent they also front wheel drive?
thats why they got the widebody treatment in the first place... so there was room for the cv's.
