last time we met in Albert Park, at the golf club, it was shit, the starions were not easily visible from the road so if u didnt know exactly where you were going, like us you were screwed and went straight past.. also there were no where near enough parking spots, we had 2 starions on one side, 2 down the other end, and others not even in carparks at all.. so if we meet up in that area try to find a decent sized car park

definitely not where that circle is.. LOL

i have no idea where decent car parks are around there..

wheres the cruise headed after we all meet up there?? not too far east or south/east of the city, as we are still about 40 mins the other side of the city (west).. and if its too far away i might just have a cry and make up an excuse not to come rofl

they usually have decent car parks along the roads near the beaches.. dunno about that area tho..

looking in the melways, the area pointed to on the map below, is called Catani Gardens, which has a road going through it and a bbq area, which to me says it has a nice carpark too.. and thats in St Kilda just off Beaconsfield Parade.. Dunno where we will go from there tho.. im not sure of good cruising places.

if anyone is near there just drive around for a while looking for a park or something theres gotta be one somewhere.. we have a couple of decent ones here.. but meltons a bit boring.. nothing over this side of the world... if anyone has a decent park with a big car park, then just put it up on here, we dont have to meet at Albert Park or anywhere around there really..

That marker represents a car park of some sort, it says paid parking but i'm not sure about weekends, i am going to have a look at the general area this weekend and decide on a good place that is easy to get to and see from the main road.
So far, here are the details, i will post up a poll for date of cruise.

Location: St Kilda (Exact place to be decided)

Date: Saturday 17th OR Sunday 18th of July (Next weekend)

Time: 10 - 11AM (Will decide on a definite time)

Crooze: about 1 hours worth going south down the coast, through Cheltenham, Seaford, Frankston and then end up in MORNINGTON where there is a nice carpark and Picnic area, a short walk to fish and chips, playground and toilets nearby. If its too far for you to drive, then come to the meet anyway so we can say gday in St Kilda then we can depart there about midday.
It's a very nice drive with some curvy bits and some nice straight bits. I have been to mornington many a time and the area is pretty good (Schnapper point), so long as the weather isnt too bad.

Hope lots of ppl can come!!

Take it easy guys n girls.

I have found a good car park spot, very scenic and easy to find, just down the road through Albert park, L shaped parking spot (at least 40 spots there). I was there at 2pm on friday and there were 2 carsparked there, dunno how busy it'll be on the weekends though. Can someone nearby have a look at about 10 - 11AM?
