Well it's a later type because it's got a watercooled turbo, plus it look's in pretty good condition, almost too good!
It all looks factory (pipes, clips, brackets, etc) as far as I can tell from the pic, ok I give up whats is it :?

Looks like 2 litre...... old Pajero with a heart transplant perhaps going by the space where the battery is.

Bloody hell of course it's not a 2.6 :o
It's a Sirius engine.
And yes Alspos battery position is interesting. Also it has an engine driven fan. "Cyclone" on the tappet cover has me confused?
I can't remember what a L200 ute engine bay looks like. They had the Sirius engine.

Calm down, i've never even seen a sirius motor :roll:
I have seen the 2.6 and it didnt look too different from that

The Sirius engine is what is in the Starion.
