My Starion/Conquest Collection

Post by BzurcTSi »

I'll go in order from oldest to newest
1984 Starion LE (Automatic) - Got this one for $100, added some missing parts, did a little electrical work, and got it running. I think i have this one sold to a friend of mine.

1987 Conquest LE (Automatic) - Picked this up for $450. Replaced tank, fuel pump, and tires. Runs great, and has only 85,000 miles on it.

1989 Conquest TSi (5spd) - This is the car that started it all for me; the pride and joy of my collection. It's an 89 with SHP (adj. suspension, 8/9in wide wheels, lower ride height). Has just under 90k miles. Recently rebuilt the entire motor with forged internals, upgraded the turbo to a relatively tame (small 16g) td05H setup adapted off of a DSM set at 16lbs, 2.5in turbo-back catless exhaust, 1g MAS, and a ton of other little things. In the future, I have plans to add an SDS suplemental injector system, S-AFCII, Wideband 02 w/ Dataloging, T3-flanged header, and a TD06 17c.

did your 89 Conquest TSi come with that black grill? i always thought the differences between the starions and the quests were quests had a colour coded grill and striped tail lights?
