Never heard of that variant, but conversely have seen a pic of an early 3000GT rear facia with Starion GTO on it.

yeah the prototype for the 3000GT/GTO was called the Starion GTO. I have a magazine from 1990 with an article about it.. then they dropped the 'Starion' bit for production
