key words "really good" heh, I have been through mitre 10 and material stores like spotlight for a good adhesive and most of them will not stand up to time as I already have bits peeling and this is only after a week of adhesion.

And you can't use too much spray as it goes through the fabric and makes it hard too, wrecking the finish of the micro suede.

Anyways i will check out a few more places, might try bunnings, see if they have anything strong.

Cheers.

I gather this is for a car interior? I used a brush on contact adhesive which I got from this place:

Car Console Supplies Pty Ltd
409 Princes Hwy Carlton NSW 2218
ph: (02) 9546 7914 Motor Body Trimmers

They sold them in tomato paste jars as they bought in bulk. Lasted for over a year and then I sold the vehicle, so its still probably still going strong. Used it for glueing cloth/velour trim.

The shit you'll get from them is most likely the same as what is used to stick laminate down. is strong shit, just make sure you get it in the right spot first go or its fucked ;)

The stuff I used was kind of brown'ish orange in colour. It did make the material go hard if you used too much too. I was told that you had to use stuff that could withstand the temperatures in a car without going soft. If you ring up, they might be able to tell you what brand etc. so you can source locally.

go to your local mitre 10 and buy some "Kwik Grip" apply it to both surfaces and let it settle for about a minute the join both surfaces together!

Doing it that way and it will never fall apart!!!

I have kwik grip and it is a thick paste in a tube not really good for material bonding when you still want the soft material feel.

but kwik grip does hold on :)
