Does anyone know what a new replacement part number for a vacuum advance to suit my 1982 JA Starion 4G63 SOHC? Last time I tried to get a new one they said I had to pay over $400 for the entire dizzy, which I don't want to do...
Otherwise I'm looking to buy one secondhand from anyone who has one or two, or three???
Haven't had a working one in years so kinda need something that works

Is the diaphragm gone? If so there's a few odd places that can get you a new replacement for maybe $100 or so.
Reduce fuel costs by 15-20% & cut emissions by 1/3rd...
Increase engine performance & prolong engine life...

Yeah the diaphragm is gone... This would be the third blown vac advance since buying the car, not sure if they keep blowing coz they're second hand or some other issue!? Do you know who does new diaphragms?
